The Celebration is a free event open to the public.

Allentown: Independence Sunday, 10:30 a.m. July 1, Zion's Liberty Bell United Church of Christ, 620 Hamilton St. Worship service featuring the reading of the Declaration of Independence. During the service, two dozen participants reenact the protests of the colonists by reading sections of the Declaration, punctuated by the ringing of Allentown's Liberty Bell. Wawa Welcomes America Festival: Features more than 50 events in Center City and across Philadelphia with the theme “Welcoming the World With Love.” Activities kick off noon June 28 at Independence Mall and finish on July 4 with a concert featuring Pitbull, the Philly POPS and singer/songwriter Heather Headley, a parade and fireworks in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
