Personal injury law firm Seidel, Cohen, Hof & Reid will spearhead National Passenger Safety Week in the Lehigh Valley with a Car Seat Safety Check open to the public. The event takes place Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Target parking lot at the Airport Road location.
The event, called “Get Them There Safely,” is in partnership with the Bethlehem Health Department. No appointment is necessary. Certified car technicians will conduct a 20-minute evaluation of car seat installations and review proper installation and safety tips with participants.
“We are proud to be part of such an important message to parents and families of the Lehigh Valley. We will continue to provide education and resources to keep children and families safe in the community in which we live and practice,” said Isaac Hof, Personal Injury Attorney of Seidel Cohen Hof & Reid.
If a car seat fails the inspection, the Bethlehem Health Department will have one infant, convertible, and booster car seat for immediate donation. Target will also be providing 20% off coupons for on-site purchase with expiration of 9/23/2017.
Gift bags with safety materials and donations from local businesses will be available at the event, as well as light refreshments.
